Subscribe by e-mail

Whilst I would really like to encourage you all to use a feedreader, such as www.bloglines.com, I've added a subscribe by e-mail button for those of you who would prefer to work that way. Please click on the button to receive an e-mail each time I add a post to this blog. Getting quick updates by either of these methods is a very easy and painless way of keeping up to date.

Keeping up to date

You can keep informed every time a new entry is added to a blog by subscribing. The most popular "feeds" to achieve this are RSS and Atom. Click on the link below to see how this works. This saves you or your students checking blogs/websites frequently. To manage a number of feeds you can use a "newsreader" or "feed aggregator", which can organise a number of feeds in folders for your convenience. Podcast feeds can be organised and accessed through iTunes or similar sites/software.
